As digital specialists, Ady Howes and Digital Skills People Ltd are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to this website and users of the services. In particular, we want to let you know that we are not in the business of selling, renting or trading lists with other companies and businesses. It frustrates us when others pass details on, especially without permission. Digital Skills PeopleLtd does not pass on your details unless we are required to do so by a law enforcement agency. We collect this information so that we can deal with and respond to your enquiry. We keep records of our communication with you. Working with us

Client Portal

You will become a client of Digital Skills People Ltd when you purchase products or services from this website and/or engage with the business services and products provided by Ady Howes. As a client, you will be invited to join an online client portal, which will give you access to information for the projects Digital Skills People Ltd are working on for you. This includes files we share as well as invoices and proposals. The service we use is provided by Monday.com. Their privacy policy can be found at https://monday.com/privacy/. Up until the end of December 2019, we used a similar service provided by Plutio and you can view their privacy policy on this link.

Accounting Software

Digital Skills People Ltd uses Sage One for accounting purposes. When you become a client of Digital Skills People Ltd, we will store details contact details, names, addresses and company information in Sage One along with details of any financial transactions that occur. File Storage

Any files you share as a client with Digital Skills People Ltd or any that are created as part of the work we do with you will be stored on our business file storage platforms.  We use Dropbox for business to store and share files.  You can read more about Dropbox security by visiting this link: https://www.dropbox.com/en_GB/security

Device Protection

Only equipment owned by Digital Skills People Ltd has access to the systems used to store files. We have an ongoing licence with Norton Security which provides a strong level of anti-virus and cyber criminal protection on all the devices we use. Joining as a member

Some areas of the site may be protected for members only. When you join this site as a member I collect information from you. To give you this access, I require your full name and email address. You are also asked to establish your own username and password. These details are necessary to provide membership services to you. I use your email address to give you access to the site, manage your profile, retrieve lost passwords and provide you with information about the service I provide to you. Your email address will also be used to notify you of activity on discussions and from time to time I will contact you for your feedback and to let you know what’s new. Some of these emails are necessary to provide services and products to you. Those that are not necessary have an easy to use unsubscribe option. At any point, you may contact me with any questions or queries you have.

Member Passwords

This site has been purposely designed to ensure that even we do not have access to passwords you create. Guidelines are provided on password selection when you join the site and we have automated password reminder processes in place. If you have any password issues, I encourage you to follow those steps before contacting me for support. If you do contact me, please remember I am unable to gain access to your password and can only attempt the same steps as you to provide a reset link to you.

Mailing Lists

Some of areas of the site encourage you to sign up for mailing lists. I do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. I use a third-party provider, Kartra provided by Genesis Digital, to deliver information and gather statistics on email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies. You can unsubscribe to mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by contacting me.

Purchasing Products and Services

To sell any products and services from this website, I use a number of third party providers. These include the shopping cart system provided by Genesis Digital called Kartra, the card processor platform Stripe and Pay Pal for online payments. Our payment providers will use the details they collect to process your payment and to provide you with documentation such as receipts. Payment providers will notify us when payment has been made, or when a payment has failed or been cancelled. This ensures we can always give the appropriate level of access to our members. Each of these third party providers are ‘data controllers’ in their own rights and each have their own privacy policy which you can view by clicking on the names of these organisations. Payment information is retained only by those third party providers and we have no access to this information.

Accessing Your Information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. In order to do so, please contact me.

This privacy policy was last updated on 9th January 2020 and will be reviewed annually and no later than 9th January 2021.
