Privacy Policy

About this Privacy Policy

As a digital specialist, I am committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to my website and users of my services. In particular, I wanted to let you know that I am not in the business of selling, renting or trading lists with other companies and businesses. It frustrates me when others pass details on, especially without permission. I don’t pass on your details unless I am required to do so by a law enforcement agency. In this Privacy Policy, I have provided information on when and why I collect your personal information and how it is used.

Cookies and Tracking

Cookies are used on this website to help us improve the website, products and services as well as make the membership to the site possible. A cookie is a very small file that is downloaded to your device when you visit this site. These cookies are used to identify you, your device, time and date of visit as well as the pages you visit. Whilst some cookies are non-essential particularly on the publicly available areas of our site, the majority are an essential part of us being able to provide services to our members. On visiting the site, you will be asked for your consent to the site using cookies. If you opt out of using these cookies, please be aware that this will prevent certain features and functions of the site being operational and will affect whether you can use this site as a member. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Contacting Me

When you contact me, I collect minimal information which includes your full name, email address and message. I collect this information so that I can deal with and respond to your enquiry. I keep records of our communication with you.

Client Portal

When you work with me as a client, you will be invited to join an online client portal, which will give access to information for the projects we are working on, files we share as well as invoices and proposals. This service is provided by Plutio and you can view their privacy policy on this link.

Joining as a Member

Some areas of the site may be protected for members only. When you join this site as a member I collect information from you. To give you this access, I require your full name and email address. You are also asked to establish your own username and password. These details are necessary to provide membership services to you. I use your email address to give you access to the site, manage your profile, retrieve lost passwords and provide you with information about the service I provide to you. Your email address will also be used to notify you of activity on discussions and from time to time I will contact you for your feedback and to let you know what’s new. Some of these emails are necessary to provide services and products to you. Those that are not necessary have an easy to use unsubscribe option. At any point, you may contact me with any questions or queries you have.

Member Passwords

This site has been purposely designed to ensure that even we do not have access to passwords you create. Guidelines are provided on password selection when you join the site and we have automated password reminder processes in place. If you have any password issues, I encourage you to follow those steps before contacting me for support. If you do contact me, please remember I am unable to gain access to your password and can only attempt the same steps as you to provide a reset link to you.

Mailing Lists

Some of areas of the site encourage you to sign up for mailing lists. I do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. I use a third-party provider, Active Campaign, to deliver information and gather statistics on email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies. This helps us to monitor and improve information I give to you. For more information, please see Active Campaign’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by contacting me.

Purchasing Products and Services

To sell any products and services from this website, I use a number of third party providers. These include the shopping cart system provided by Pay Blue, the card processor platform Stripe and Pay Pal for online payments. Our payment providers will use the details they collect to process your payment and to provide you with documentation such as receipts. Payment providers will notify us when payment has been made, or when a payment has failed or been cancelled. This ensures we can always give the appropriate level of access to our members. Each of these third party providers are ‘data controllers’ in their own rights and each have their own privacy policy which you can view by clicking on the names of these organisations. Payment information is retained only by those third party providers and we have no access to this information.

Accessing Your Information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. In order to do so, please contact me.
